I must say, I actually do like the changes. Parts of walking in stations just feel really incomplete. There's a short freeze whenever I dock/undock that's a bit bothersome, but I'm sure that can be ironed out over time. When you fix the glitches and start rolling out more content it should be golden.
But lets be honest here, the AUR store/cash shop/noble exchange is broken, and doesn't fit in with the economy whatsoever. The available items are really mundane (Except the quafe shirt, which you can't even buy). Everything looks like the same, silly, generic crap that you can already access through normal character creation. It's entirely bland. There's nothing edgy, nothing spicy, nothing formal, nothing ... actually, there's nothing whatsoever. All the clothing looks the same. Walmart has more variety and at a quarter the real-world price.
I seriously don't mind the prices being high. What I do mind is there being nothing cool whatsoever to buy. I remember when carbon was introduced, and the first screenshots of "Ambulation" came out. There were latex pilotsuits, dresses, skirts, tights, etc. Heck, armor might be cool. Or accessories. One screenshot features a girl in a bright blue shirt with pink hair. I see nothing that stands out that much. And heck, give us some outfits that show a little skin. Eve isn't rated E.
The second biggest issue is that these items are destroyable, and non-replicable. I think the easiest thing to do would be to reduce the prices dramatically, and change the current items (and the items that have already been sold) into limited 5-run BPCS of these items. Many players are interested in the world of clothing retail, and wouldn't mind bringing it to EVE. While Incarna is a great way for you to make money, the easiest way to make money is by giving players what they want.
The new turrets are nothing short of awesome. I just hope that one day the same can be done for missiles. They added mount points for tractor beams and salvagers; I can't see missiles being that much harder.
And even though it doesn't belong here, I must insist, please, please, please hurry up and fix pirate implants. Them suddenly disappearing was too much of a scare.
